The Other Side Village is a peer-led democratic therapeutic community that empowers individuals to move beyond chronic homelessness through stable housing, personal accountability, and meaningful connection.
About Us
The Other Side Village is a master-planned, therapeutic community located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nestled in a tranquil setting, the Village provides high-quality, permanent homes and a supportive environment for individuals transitioning out of chronic homelessness. This unique neighborhood combines affordable housing with a vibrant, peer-led culture that fosters healing, personal growth, and connection.

Here, residents become active participants in their own transformation, surrounded by a supportive network that prioritizes mental health, personal development, and community engagement.

Prep School
A stabilization program designed to ensure residents are ready for independent living. This essential first step focuses on mental health, accountability, and life skills.
Supportive Community
Residents are surrounded by a peer-led, therapeutic culture that promotes connection, growth, and shared responsibility.
Holistic Support
Access to social services, mental health resources, and volunteer-led programs that empower individuals to overcome barriers like substance use and trauma.
Purposeful Engagement
Residents contribute to the Village through work, service, and personal development while rediscovering their self-worth and independence.
