How to Apply
To apply to join The Other Side Village community, please call (801) 618-1234 or email to info@theothersidevillage.com. There is no cost to participate in the program.
If you are a family member, spouse, significant other, friend, or neighbor and you know someone who needs this level of help, know that the person you love and care about needs to be the one to ask us for help. It is important for them to ask us directly and we won’t be able to accept requests from someone on their behalf. You are still welcome to contact us with questions or to facilitate the interview, but an important part of this process is that the person needing help has a sincere desire to change and needs to ask for help themselves.
Applications are received and reviewed on a rolling basis. All of your responses are secure and confidential. Once your application has been received, a member of the Admissions team will contact you.
Eligibility Requirements
Able to fully participate in a therapeutic
community environment, manage medications, and live independently
Must be 18 years or older
Meet the criteria for chronically homeless
Must have lived in Utah for at least one year
Make a commitment to living in a sober, supportive community
No prior convictions related to sex offenses or arson
To be eligible to live at The Other Side Village, you must first graduate from The Other Side Village Prep School—a structured, residential program designed for people coming out of chronic homelessness who are serious about changing their lives.
