This season is a time when many of us open our hearts to others and donate to important causes, asking ourselves how we can make a difference. This year, your donation to The Other Side Village will make a difference to someone leaving chronic homelessness, as all donations go toward building and furnishing the Village homes.
After being convicted of two felonies and spending a little over ten months in jail, Sam got up close and personal with people who are caught in the cycles of homelessness and the criminal justice system. These experiences lead him to become part of The Other Side Village’s mission to end homelessness.

The Village will NOT be an isolated community kept separate from the rest of Salt Lake City. The Village is designed to draw in the larger community every day – through shared shopping and services, a community amphitheater where we’ll have concerts and festivals, social enterprises, and more.
The Other Side Village features private small residences in neighborhood groupings designed to create a vibrant, thriving community. These beautiful, well-made homes are small but completely outfitted with all the amenities you expect in a home. In other words, it is a safe, permanent place to live in a strong, community setting.
